Recording Room

Our acoustically purpose built – floating – recording room, is a rarity here in Perth. It was designed by ARO Technology’s Chris Morton, known for his work at Sydney’s World class mastering facility Sonamax as well as many of the rooms at the Sydney Opera House. We can record – capture – a variety of sounds, allowing us to offer, for example, bands, the capability of capturing a BIG drum sound. Or for a solo guitarist, the capability of capturing either a bright, live sounding acoustic guitar, or maybe a darker more intimate sound. The rooms acoustic properties – live end / dead end – & it’s low reverb time, offer up a variety of options.

We’ve recorded everything from a 30 strong choir – THE AFRICAN ZULU CHOIR – to Barry Humphries – dressed as himself but speaking as Dame Edna Everage – & everything in between. Bands, solo artists, voice-over talent, dancers tap dancing etc …. it’s been quiet a journey!

Our rate is $140 +GST per hour.
